Whether you're a student deciding on a major, a professional looking to switch careers, or simply someone curious about how technology works, this course is the perfect starting point.
Throughout this course, you will learn the fundamental concepts of computer science, including how computers work, how to think algorithmically, and how to write your first programs using Python — one of the most beginner-friendly and widely-used programming languages in the world. You will also explore key topics such as data structures, problem-solving techniques, and an introduction to areas like Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Web Development.

No prior experience is required — just bring your curiosity and willingness to learn!
No prior programming or computer science experience is needed. Students should have basic computer literacy (browsing the web, using email, and managing files), a stable internet connection, and a willingness to learn and practice regularly. A basic understanding of high school-level mathematics (algebra and logic) will be helpful but is not mandatory.
Dr. Sarah Mitchell is a Professor of Computer Science with over 15 years of experience in teaching programming and computational theory. No installation is required! All programming exercises in this course are done through an online Python editor built into the platform. However, we recommend installing Python and VS Code on your computer to practice coding offline as well.
We recommend setting aside 4–6 hours per week to watch lectures, complete exercises, and work on assignments. The course is self-paced, so you can adjust based on your schedule.
Yes! Students who successfully complete all assignments and pass the final assessment with a score of 70% or above will receive a verified certificate of completion from AIBridge.
